A very Merry Christmas

"For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 NLT

Jesus Christ is His name, and there is no other who could be all that He is to you and me.

He came into the world to be our Prince of Peace- something that far exceeds what we experience on an earthly level( John 14:27 ).

He came to be our Wonderful Counselor through the Holy Spirit ( John 14:16-21; 15:26; 16:7-15 ).

He came to reveal Himself as our Mighty God ( Matt. 1:23;11:27; John 1:14; 14:9; Heb. 1:1-3 ).

He came to restore our relationship with Himself- our Eternal Father( Rom. 5:10, 11; 2 Cor. 5:18-21; Col. 1:19-22 ).

and, He came to make us one with Himself (John 17:21-23; Rom.12:4, 5; 1 Cor. 1:30, 31; Eph. 4:3-6; Col. 3:14, 15 ).

Take a moment and reflect on all the ways Jesus has revealed Himself to you over the past year. Do you seek Him as your

Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, and Everlasting Father when it comes to the mundane tasks of your life?
