to those of you stepping into a new school year.....
I am praying that you walk in confidence because you know who God is and, therefore, know who He has made you to be. I pray protection over you from the schemes of the evil
one and that the Lord would continue to strengthen your frame. you don't have to fear because He is with you. you don't have to be dismayed because He is your God. He will help you and uphold you with His righteous right hand. I pray that you would be unashamed of the gospel - for it is the power of salvation to all who believe. I am praying that you
live on mission, telling others the good news about the wonderful grace of God. you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus and nothing can separate you from His love.
pray that you boldly let your light so shine before all people, so they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. you are beautiful and made with purpose
and have been placed in the school and community you are in for a purpose. I pray that you seek the Lord first and I pray that you are surrounded by godly people to lift you up and
walk with you. don't grow weary of doing good! don't shy away from encouraging people! don't be timid with your smile. don't think you're too cool to sit with the person who's eating all by themself at lunch. I am praying that you refuse to live out of fear for what people think of you - it's a trap. & I pray that you live in deep, undivided fear of the Lord, trusting in Him. remember that your identity & worth is not found in making the team, getting the grade, having a date to the dance, or being invited to the party. & never EVER will you regret loving people. I am praying that you make the most of this day for the glory of God because,
though it may feel like this lasts a long time, it really is like avapor - here today and gone tomorrow. so LEAN IN. tell your janitors your thankful for them! tell your lunch ladies how pretty they look today! tell your teachers how much you appreciate them! tell the person who is rude to you that you hope they have a good day. you've got a race to run, so run it well, fixing your eyes on Jesus. I love you & am cheering you on!
